If goal temperature in scenario is used, scenario not workin

Dear Forum Users,

I am a new Smart Home user and live in Amsterdam. Therefore I am wrinting in English since my german is not so good. If any body can help me and want's to repsond in German that is no problem. My German reading is OK.

I have a problem when it comes to climate-scenarios. I need to switch the system on temperature. Room temp. and Goal temp. are triggers for opening a valve with a simple SmartHome on/off switch. 

At the moment there is no way I can get the system to run the scenario. Is this a bug or a UserFault?

I add a screenshot of my scenario. I used "status" in stead of the actual switch just for testing. 
Again, please respond and feel free to use German.

Is the actual room temperature maybe already below the goal temperature? Your scenario will just operate in the exact moment when the room temperature falls below goal temp.

You probably need to solve it like this:

IF
Change of Room Temperature happens
AND
Room Temperature is below Goal Temperature
THEN
Turn on valve

You then would need a second rule that turns it off again similar to the one above using 'Room Temperature is over Goal Temperature' as a condition.

IF
Change of Room Temperature happens
AND
Room Temperature is over Goal Temperature
THEN
Turn off valve

Thank you for your reply. I will try the scenario you suggested. I tested my initial scenario by raising the goal temp on the room thermostat so that the actual room temp. is lower than the goal temp. If I understand you right, the roomtemp must drop under the set goal temp in order to let my scenario work?

Your scenario will only trigger at one point exactly, the one time room temp drops below set temperature. Other than that it will do nothing. Raising goal temperature won't help, as it's only occurring once.
